Below is the process for EOP members who possess work cell phones:
- Log into your Microsoft 365 Account using the following Link: https://www.office.com/
- Click on your initials in the right side of the screen:
- Click on the “View Account” link:
- Click on the “Security Info” link:
- Click on the “+ Add Method” link:
- Click on the drop down menu and click on the Authenticator App:
- Follow the prompts on the screen till you reach a screen showing a QR code:
- Using your EOP Work phone, download the Microsoft Authenticator Application from the App Store:
- Install the Application once it’s done downloading and launch it.
- Click on the add account button then the work or school account button.
- Click on the Scan QR code and allow it access to the phone’s camera when prompted.
- Scan the QR code given on the Microsoft 365 account settings.
- Once it syncs, it will send you an authentication verification to your cell.
- Approve the authentication verification from your phone. Note, all request will look like this.
- You’re all set!
- Note: If you are currently logged into any Microsoft 365 Applications, it will ask you at some point to authenticate the session.
